I look up at the four boys, singing their Australian hearts out to the crowd, Ashton banging on his drums with his drumsticks until he needs to grab a new drumstick because he broke the other, and continues, beads of sweat flying off of his hair.
Luke is singing his heart out, his eyes closing every now and again, emphasizing the passion he feels while he's singing and playing his guitar, sweat running down the back of his neck, and the front chest part of his shirt soaked in sweat.
Michael has his knees bent slightly as he strums so hard I'm afraid the strings are going to go ping and break, curling up as they do so. He occasionally leans forward and sings backup vocals into his mic and scans the crowd then smiles and then looks over at Luke and Calum.
Calum is also playing guitar and practically dancing around Luke and Michael before he stops beside Luke and sings into the same mic, sharing the same enthusiasm as the rest of them.
All was going well. Everything was happy, everyone was jumping around excitedly, and then there was me. A gunshot was heard. The boys stopped playing and ducked, the whole crowd screamed and dropped to their knees, covering their heads, some of them running for the exit.
But then there was me. Unwillingly falling, with blood running down the side of my neck.
I hit the ground with a thud, and my head hits the ground. Hard, before I see security tackling a man and surrounding me, before someone pushes through them.
"Are you alright?!" He shouts, his eyes wild with fear, worry and anger.
"Ashton -" is all I can say before my eyes close and I pass out.
