Since than Virgil has gained the life he's always wanted. He lives with his best friends and his boyfriends and is going to college. And though the others haven't given up hero work his life of crime is over and the name 'Shadow Master' is rarely ever spoken of anymore. He and the others are happy and healthy. Patton is one year away from becoming a teacher, soon all he'll have to do is his in-person training and he'll have his dream job. Logan has gained several new students who he helps to tutor. And Roman is not only close to a promotion at work but has been in several plays these past few months. But of course, we all know that happiness doesn't last forever. The others begin to feel like they're being watched. Trouble arrives at their doorstep and right when they think they're rid of it again something else happens. People are after them, they want all four of them but the reason they want Virgil is different than why they want Patton, Logan, and Roman. People long forgotten and forgiven have pushed themselves back into their lives. But they have to ask themselves; Are the people who found them, the people they say they are?

He just needed an apartment that would be okay with his job. Trying to keep to his price range and find what he needed was proving to be so much harder than he thought it would. He picked up his phone again, going to close out of the app he was using, but suddenly a line on one that he hadn't looked at caught his eye. 'Must be willing to allow for eccentric work ethics and schedules, as owner of the apartment works independently online.' Virgil tapped on the listing and began to read. 'Four bedroom apartment, looking for up to three roommates. Apartments beneath and above are both empty at the moment, noise is not a problem so long as residents are courteous. Preferred that applicants are male.' Virgil stared at the listing. This was so... so perfect. He closed the app and tapped his messenger app. 'Hey Pat, I think I found something.' Disclaimer: I just reread A Lesson in Practicality by @residentanchor, so there might be some things ever so slightly similar to that, but if there are I am not doing it on purpose and I apologize.
