In a world where it is the law to take joy pills, puff is a reporter, who writes up the news and publish said writing to the public. Edge is a cop, who takes care of troublemakers or those that get off their pills. Puff stopped taking his medicine, he saw something disturbing in the paper that he shouldn't have seen.
