Angel's world was turned upside down. Or at least she assumes it was. In truth, she simply can't see the world at all anymore. Because she's blind. She wasn't always blind, but when some guy decides to beat your face in for hooking up with his girlfriend (even though you were unaware that she even had a boyfriend), well, that sort of thing can happen. And it happened about six months ago. She's been adjusting as well as she can be with zero sight, but it isn't easy. The hardest thing is probably the simple fact that she can't see anymore. She's always loved to just enjoy staring at nature; stars, clouds, the ocean, the sunset, the sunrise, and so much more. None of which she can see anymore. And to make matters worse, she's always had a bad memory. Which wasn't a problem before, but when the only way to see the world is through your memories, what do you do when you can't remember it? That was Angel's problem. Enter: Wednesday Addams Wednesday is a writer and eloquent with her words. So maybe, just maybe, all Angel needs to experience the world again, to "see" the world again, is for Wednesday to simply use her words. Though Angel's lack of sight isn't the only problem they'll be facing. Strange new abilities, kidnappings, and ultimatums, Angel will have to stand up and protect the people she cares about. Wednesday Addams arrives at the infamous Nevermore Academy, and she is not happy about it. Until she meets the strange Enid Sinclair and mysterious Wanda Rhodes. Maybe this school won't be so bad after all. Enid Sinclair thought it would be another regular school year. Until murders started happening around town and in the woods. And now thanks to her new cute roommate she keeps getting roped into it. Though at least Wanda's there too to keep things fun. Wanda Rhodes has a penchant for mischief, so when new girl Wednesday Addams comes along causing some, how could she possibly stay away? As a seer, she's not scared of what the future may bring. As a vampire, she's not afraid of chasing a few monsters. Plus, hanging around two cute girls all day? Count her in. Just don't let them know her secrets. Dragons exist, and everyone knows it. Only they're kept separated from society. Free to live in the mountains, dragons and humans have a fragile, unspoken peace. They used to be at war before humans finally decided to lay down their arms since they realized they really couldn't win. An official treaty was never made, but both sides just leave each other alone. It's been that way for the last five hundred years. Libelle lives among the dragons on Dragon's Peak with the Dreksins Dragon Clan, and is the only human that has ever done so. This is because when she was a newborn baby, her parents left her on Dragon's Peak in an empty cabin. A dragon found her and took pity on her, taking her in. She was raised as a dragon and underwent ancient dragon magic to bind herself to a small acid dragon named Jovu that resides within her most of the time, though is free to come out. They speculate that Libelle was left in the cabin on the mountain because she was born without legs, just a little bit of her thighs. But thanks to Jovu being bonded to her, when within her, he can share his body with hers. Granting her black scaled dragon legs that morph to take on the shape of regular human legs. But on Libelle's 18th birthday, the peace between dragon and humans is broken. Now Libelle must go into hiding so as to not be killed. While also figuring out why the humans would suddenly attack after five hundred years of peace and how to find the queen of the dragons. She happens upon Nevermore in a wounded state and meets Wednesday Addams who is exciting to finally have something to do after the so far boring school year. Wednesday agreed to help her, but neither expected the strange new feelings that would accompany them. But can they solve the mystery and save Libelle's family before they're wiped out?
