I pushed away from the dinner table and stood up really fast, then bolted for the door. I couldn't just stay here and listen to him tell me he was leaving, I just couldn't deal with it. Tears start running down my face just as I reach the edge of the grass and sidewalk about to enter the street, but arms wrapped around my waist and I collapsed into them."Baby girl, I'm so sorry." He sounded as heartbroken as I am "I really am, I wanted to tell you first. Before I had to tell very one like that, I don't want you crying like this. It breaks my heart." "I still remember the time I lost you in the woods." "You had no idea how scared I was because I lost you. I thought I lost you for good, that I wouldn't be able to find you, ever." I leaned my head into his chest."Every time I called your name I got more scared that I wouldn't find you, but then I did. I found you. You were huddled up crying against a tree trunk, you didn't even know it was me till I called your name.'' "The way you looked at me after that, made me want to never see you cry again. So I promised myself I would do everything in my power to keep you from crying, and I did a good job. Until now, that is. Not only did I not keep you from crying, but I'm the reason." he says, his voice barely above a whisper. His eyes shining with tears. "You also promised never to leave me." I whisper as I'm finally able to talk, my lips quivering. "I know..." "You promised!" I shout, he holds me tighter. "I know... I know, and I'm sorry. I never meant to break that promise either." ~ Tyler and Dakota have been best friends since either can remember, even with a 2 year gap in their age. But what happens when Ty leaves and joins the military, and leaves Kota behind? Something he promised he would never do? Will it wreck their friendship for good, will they be able to repair it? When Ty comes back, Kota is in a terrible situation. Will Ty be able to protect her? © 2013 Kenzie Elaine (Wattys13)

DJ Masque had become the popular DJ in New York City in mere weeks after getting discovered in the underground music scene where she played illegal raves in abandoned warehouses. Yeah, she was a girl, but no one cared. She became the most popular DJ and started getting invited to play the hottest clubs and even celebrity parties. And the thing that was unique about DJ Masque was her clothing, which was always completed with a black and purple sequined mask covering half of her face, which never revealed her true identity. Dani Sinclair was the unpopular girl, the geek if you want to call her that. With her dark brown hair that was always pulled back in a pony tail and her glasses, she was always someone for the popular people to pick on, even though she was rich and lived in a penthouse overlooking Central Park with her grandmother. And what geek doesn't have a crush on the most popular guy in school, who just happened to be the son of a millionaire banker and one of the hottest hip hop dancers in the city? So you might be wondering just what DJ Masque and Dani Sinclair have in common, huh? Well, the truth is...they're the same person. No one knew that, though. Well, not until one night when the truth accidentally came out and the mask came off...and true identity is revealed to none other than her secret crush.

#1 Teen Fiction | #1 Young Adult | #1 Romance "We all need someone to drive us mad." - The Wombats. He stared arrogantly down at me, a smirk plastered across his face. I sneered up at him with distaste, wanting to wrap my fingers around his neck and strangle that smirk off of him. He brushed my golden hair from my face, his long, slender fingers sparking electricity in my skin, making my knees wobble together. "Will you ever, forgive me?" he whispered huskily, his eyes intently staring into mine. His face was only mere inches from me. I just needed to reach out a little further to kiss him... "Yeah. Over my dead body." I snapped, before throwing my arms out forcefully, shoving my hands into his chest, pushing him from me. -*-*-*- He, is Carter Williams. I, am Lacey Adams. We were once, inseparable. The 'Golden Couple'. The unbreakable best friends, that everybody envied. Nothing could get between us. A part from being tighter than white on rice, we updated our status from friends to being in a relationship, frequently. We were neighbours, which meant our families were all close and even co-owned houses around our town. This, all is, until the day of my sixteenth birthday. Everything changed. The loving relationship we shared, was severed and torn apart. I couldn't hardly stand to look at him any more, without spitting fire that is. Every day is torture being around him. He was in all my classes at school and the window in my room was even directly aligned with his. So, what happens? My mother's mum gets sick, so dad and her fly out. Just them. Leaving me to stay with Carter and his parents, who are never home. We would be alone. In one house. Under the same roof. If I was insane before, I have no idea what I am now. © 2016 by LaurenJ22. One last adventure. That was all Julianne wanted. One last trip to escape the pressures of an arranged marriage to a man she doesn't love and doesn't even like. One last time to experience freedom... to go wherever she wanted to go, to be anyone she wanted to be. On her last two weeks in Paris, she met someone unexpected-aspiring painter, Jas Mathieu. She wanted to give Jas every part of herself, but she was already promised to a powerful man who could easily ruin the simple life of the guy she fell in love with. Terrified of what her father and fiancé could do to Jas if she stayed with him, she fled Paris and left him behind-with no real information about herself, not even her real name. Little did she know, that the passionate night they spent together would be the cause of her broken engagement and would change her life forever. Seven years later, after her father stripped her of her heiress title and privileges, she crossed paths with Jas Mathieu once again.
