Sydney Barton thought her life was wonderful. Living up her life with her brother, Clint Barton, (and eventually the Avengers) training to be an assassin just like her older brother. It was perfect. Nothing could ruin it. Until life wasn't so perfect... when everything was taken from her. HYDRA saw some potential in having such a young girl being an assassin for them... and with the breech between SHIELD and HYDRA, they could easily take her and get away with it. And that's what they did. They took her away from everything she loved and cared about, made her forget about her family and friends and trained her almost to death.
