Sabrina Reed is Nathan Alden's wife, but not by his choice... EXCERPT****** "I found her like this, sir," the guard announced. Sabrina stirred at the voice, blinking groggily and rubbing her eyes to chase away the blur clouding her vision. A towering figure stepped into focus. "What are you doing out here, Sabrina?" Nathan's voice was sharp, cutting through the fog of sleep. His jaw was tight, words pressed between clenched teeth. She blinked again, brushing hair from her face as she sat up. "What are you doing out here?" he repeated-louder this time, more demanding. He stood before her in a jet-black suit and white button-up shirt, sleeves rolled just enough to expose forearms clenched across his chest. His eyebrows were drawn tight, his eyes narrowed. "I came back late last night and... the guard was gone, so... I just fell asleep," she said softly, eyes lowering under the weight of his glare. He dismissed the guard with a silent nod, then stepped closer. "Where were you last night?" he asked, voice taut with suspicion. She yawned, trying to blink herself fully awake. "I've been volunteering at the animal shelter." "Get up," he ordered, tone clipped and harsh. "You expect me to believe that? Don't animal shelters close at a decent time?" She remained seated, her legs too stiff to move. "Yes, but-" "Get up!" he barked.

We've all heard the tales of good and bad, the tales of innocent deceit and her hero, the tales that despite their nature, show us the beauty in contrast. But it's the tales of pure evil that get swept under the rug. The tales of deception, where cruelty is rewarded. The tales that have you questioning who the real villain of the story is. There's a simple philosophy to most thing in life; two wrongs 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 make a right. So what ensues when you put two of the worst kinds of people together? At seven, she was nothing more than a child in white lace, her hand pressed into his as their families sealed a deal with rings and blood. He was eleven-already carved from stone, already the heir to a throne built on power, violence, and fear. Neither of them understood the weight of the promise that bound them. But years later, that promise has returned to claim them both. She is no longer a little girl. She has grown into a mafia princess-reckless, untamed, with fire in her veins and defiance in her tongue. He is no longer a boy. He is the ruthless leader of an empire, a man whose word is law and whose hands are stained with blood. They are opposites, destined to clash. She hates his control, his cold indifference, his unyielding dominance. He despises her rebellion, her refusal to bend, the chaos she brings into his ordered world. Yet hate is not the only thing that burns between them. Beneath every furious argument lies an attraction as sharp and dangerous as the knives hidden under their skin. Every glance dares the other closer, every touch threatens to ignite the very fire they're both trying to smother. But in their world, love is a weakness. Betrayal is a death sentence. And their marriage-forced, bound in blood and tradition-is less a union and more a war. Still, amidst the smoke of gunfire, whispered lies, and enemies circling like wolves, a brutal truth rises: They may destroy each other. Or they may burn the whole world down together. #1 in arrange #1 in unholy
