(This is a story with a different plot than the original Barely Dead I wrote) Trapped in a room of some kind, surrounded by police, Gunner Maddox is plotting his next move. After just having gone on a massive killing spree, he is thrilled - that is, until a figure climbs through a window and joins Gunner as he is in hiding. Unbeknownst to Gunner, this figure is the Grim Reaper, a man known as Quietus Massacre. A conversation ensues between the two. Quietus is trying to persuade Gunner into switching places with him, whereas Gunner is trying to find Quietus' ulterior motives for this too-good-to-be-true, once in a lifetime offer for a position as the King of Death
