Southern Water Tribe princess Katara is arranged to be married to Hahn, the arrogant Prince of the Northern Water Tribe, but after negotiations break down over women's rights to become waterbenders the marriage contract is broken. Angry over the loss of the financial gain Hahn's father, Chief Pakku, orders the Northern Water Tribe's Navy to cut off the Southern Water Tribe's main trade routes. Over the years Pakku's tactics take their toll on the Southern Water Tribe leaving them desolate without enough food or medicine to sustain the village. In a desperate bid to save his people Chief Hakoda negotiates an uneasy marriage alliance with their one time enemies, the Fire Nation.

The 100 year war was ended and the gang must come together for one last quest, to find Zukos mother. Along the way Katara and Zukos feelings for each other only grow stronger but neither of them are willing to tell Aang or Mai.

Katara spend a great amounts of time hating Zuko after his betrayal under the crystal catacombs of Ba Sing Se. She had trusted him and he had betrayed her. When he joins Aang and starts teaching him fire bending her emotions get complicated and she is soon torn between her hatred towards the fire nation and her strange attraction to the Prince of said nation. Zuko infuriates her, annoys her , he is a constant reminder of Aang almost dying yet she finds herself trusting him again and slowly loving him. ~*~*~*~ The story is currently under Edit because it has been two years since I completed it and my English and writing ability have improved since then. I just need to fix it and make it perfect!

Katara never expected to stop by the village on the lake with the rest of the group, and she certainly doesn't expect to take on the role of the village's spirit, The Painted Lady. The Gaang has to go through the Cave of Two Lovers and they have the same problems. Except this time Katara and Zuko get trapped together and Jet has tagged along to get in the way of everything.
