Freed confessed to Laxus and was turned down. Rules were set: he can stay by Laxus' side so long as his unrequited feelings don't interfere. Yet on a stormy night when Laxus comes home drunk and reeking of perfume, Freed loses his temper and ends up kissing Laxus. He knows the rules, Laxus can only ever be "just a friend," yet as Laxus keeps throwing him mixed signals, Freed doesn't know what the rules even are anymore.

After Freed left, Evergreen and the others has been on the look out and on the hunt to find Freed. The title says it all. Freed and Laxus are in university! Freed is in art, and Laxus is in honors science. Both are extremely burnt out, and they have to help each other become successful in university. They don't know each other yet, but the head of the university puts them as roommates, and they have to find each other out and try to get along.

He's just a shy, green haired kid who comes across a guildhall in Magnolia. Not much is known about his past, and not many people try to question it, apart from one person; an older boy with blonde hair who also has issues in the past, he felt a connection to this lonely kid. As both of them form a close friendship together, could their bond become something more and are their fates meant to intertwine?

Freed wants to take a mission since Laxus isn't home yet for a while, but his teammates disagree with him so he takes a solo mission. After some time and still not hearing anything about their rune mage Laxus, Bickslow and Evergreen decide to go and see what's wrong.
