Standing on the hill was Windstripe. "Mom!" Frostpaw shouted, smiling. Windstripe looked better and healthier than she had seen her in the medicine den. She spoke up. This is basically a huge prologue/prequel to the main story Demon's Trial, so if you wanna find out why Lloyd is so angsty read this!! :D

It is an age of uncertainty around the lake, and WindClan is a pariah among the Clans. Under the stone paw of Cloudstar, the Clan's heartbroken tyrant, dissent grows. At last her deputy Goldentooth takes the reins of the Clan, and a period of hope begins. However, Stormshade cannot shake the feeling that something has gone awry. As the Clan falls into disarray once more, he begins to receive strange dreams. Something is wrong. Thanks to @azalea_db for making the book cover!
