"But I know her, she would only want the strongest to marry her." "The strongest, hmm~" He stared at her from a distance, she was pretty, that much he would admit. But looks wasn't something the "Magician" really looked for, although it was an added bonus in his favour. What he searched for was power, and the people that possessed it so he could simply destroy them in the end. "Her name is Katsumi Zoldyck, she's Illumi's younger sister." The girl continued to explain as the jester slowly began to look disinterested, he sensed nothing from her. It was until an applicant had tried to poison her, and she had politely declined, that a slow blood lust began to seep from her. "You want to meet her?" Eventually he climbed up the tower and defeated the witch, and they lived happily ever after. That's the story people want to hear. That's the story that they are familiar with; that they want to happen. They want to read about righteousness and chivalry, of heroes and heroines, of how good always triumphs over evil. I am no princess; I am an Empress. My kingdom is not magical, there are no fairies, no magic, no happily-ever afters. My kingdom was built on death, and suffering, and the endless tears and screams of the fallen. There is no good in Heaven's Arena. There is the strong, and the weak; and the strong are called Gods. It's not an evil curse that traps me in this tower, but my own stupidity; and it won't be a prince that rescues me - but the joker.
