Welcome to Sunshine Acres: the home of a reclusive sorceress, her mischievous apprentice, and a shape-shifting beast. Robin, a jaded doctor, finds himself at this peculiar sanctuary while on a quest to find his brother, Otto. Running out of money and desperate, he agrees to serve as the cook and housekeeper in return for a place to stay. Amidst the enchantment and dangers of Sunshine Acres, Robin must confront hidden dangers and unravel the sorceress's secrets. Can he mend her shattered heart and survive the perils that threaten the Witch of the Red Crows? Loosely inspired by Howl's Moving Castle (both the movie and the book) with a Wild West, gender-bent twist. 🪄 ------------------------------- "I'm looking for a sorceress." "HA!" The old woman laughed, eyes gleaming with amusement. "Might as well admit you're lookin' for trouble, boy." . Cover Character Illustrations by @minoruru on Insta/Tumblr ❤️

A light breeze set the branches above in motion, a rustling sound filling the ambience. Silence prevailed. A prominent sight of departure, yet bearing the promises of a faithful return. That's how it works, doesn't it? Good times following bad ones and ill hours trudging behind the blissful moments. But for him, that wasn't the occurrence. As there were no promises of happy hours, neither of revival and nor of a return. The change had already happened. And unfortunately, it was permanent. .・゜゜・ [A SEONGJOONG FANFICTION]

[ UNEDITED ] READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!! Let's be honest. What could possibly be worse than a 4 night stay in a 'haunted hotel'. Angeline, John, Max, Marcus, Ashlynn and myself, grouped together and assigned to stay in Room 414 of Resident Hotel. Creepy receptionist, elevator stopping at random floors, weird screaming at night, sudden deaths of students and seeing things only a person with a third eye could see. This is our story. *RESIDENT HOTEL IS A FICTIONAL HOTEL WHICH I MADE UP MYSELF.

"The Tell-Tale Heart" is a short story by American writer Edgar Allan Poe, first published in 1843. It is relayed by an unnamed narrator who endeavors to convince the reader of his sanity while simultaneously describing a murder he committed. The victim was an old man with a filmy "vulture-eye", as the narrator calls it. The narrator emphasizes the careful calculation of the murder, and he hides the body by dismembering it, and hiding it under the floorboards. Ultimately, the narrator's feelings of guilt, or a mental disturbance, result in him hearing a thumping sound, which he interprets as the dead man's beating heart. Cover by the lovely @FayLane.
