Berkley and Dean had been best friends since they were in diapers. They were so close they could finish each other's sentences and had never spent more than a week apart in their entire lives. They grew up together because their Dads were best friends and co-owners of a fishing boat company they had started up together after college. Dean had always looked out for Berkley and tried to protect her from getting hurt by guys that had bad intentions, and she trusted him more than anyone else in the world. That's why, when they went off to college together and she decided she wanted to experience sex for the first time, she couldn't imagine doing it with anyone else but him. She wanted her first time to be with someone special, someone that meant a lot to her that she could trust. Dean refused at first because he was afraid it would mess up their friendship, but he eventually caved when he found out that refusing meant she was going to do it with a guy that he hated instead. He was so protective of her that he finally gave in. The deal was, it was just going to be one time and they'd go back to being just friends after, like it never happened. The problem was, they didn't think through all the consequences that came along with having sex with your best friend. **** Warning! Violence is an emotion. An emotion is delicate. Delicacy is fragility. ~A collection of short pieces of writing I have produced. One could call it poetry.~

A darker shade. A darker life. A darker heart. | SEQUEL TO BLUE | His eyes were cold, she turned them warm, but then she left, and their iciness returned. This time, it isn't a bright and obvious ice in his blue orbs, it's an obscure darkness - where a sick and threatening pain lay involuntarily behind them. He was a troubled boy, she helped him, but then she left, and his difficulties returned. Now, it isn't being called into the principal's office twice a day, or stealing a car every now and then, it's beating up an innocent man on the streets, it's forgetting his family, it's intentionally hurting HER. His heart was frozen, she thawed it, but then she left, and its stone slates returned. Before, he showed no emotion, just a hard expression that could make anyone feel intimidated if they received it. Now with his hard heart, he doesn't just show no emotion, but he executes every single one of his feelings into violence. His blue turned sapphire.

A reflection. Do you like yours, love yours or hate yours? There's many people in this world who dislike theirs, not because of the physicality that they see in a mirror, but because they know what's lurking behind the eyes that stare. So much can be seen in yourself from your own pair of eyes, things that others don't seem to see. Do you know why that is? That's because no one knows you better than you know yourself. A pair of eyes could seem so kind, warm and innocent to the world, but only yourself could know the true darkness behind them. There's one person in this world who knows exactly what I'm talking about. He knows the infuriating, angering feeling of the painful suffering he experiences when his own eyes meet his reflection's. Deadly, severe, menacing: is what he sees. Everyone who looks into them simply see a bright pair of ocean eyes. Blue. That's all they see. But only himself knows he's drowning in the tidal waves of their deep ocean. And no one cares enough to notice, to help, or to save. Until her. She used to think fire was more murderous than ice. Little did she know, that would all change at first glance. She saw the eyes, she noticed their blue, she stared for a second too long, and now she knows that there's no going back. He'll claim her. ~If I take a step away from him, he takes a step closer to me. If I run, he'll find his way back.~ ~I'm trying my goddamned hardest to not act on the ache I'm feeling to place my lips on hers, just to have a little taste, because I don't want to appear as some sex-driven teenage boy who just wants to claim her body. Because I don't. I want to claim her heart.~ *Mature content: Strong language, aggressive behaviour, sexual content etc.* Note: Don't skip past the prologue. A bit of the dialogue or description in the first half of the book may seem slightly immature; I'll have to edit that when I get the chance. Started: 31/08/18 Completed: 02/04/19

(THIRD BOOK in the Golden Girl Series) **** "Till death do you part?" The priest finishes off with. "I do," I answer - knowing how ready I am to die with this man. *** You've been on Amber Marigold's journey since she arrived at Tygerwell. Now join the end of her journey. In the final book to the golden girl series, we level up. Bigger races. Epic fights. And much more death. It's not just Tygerwell or the country that's at risk. It's the whole world. "This has become so much bigger than us." And in the final battle of blood and loss and pain, victory is not a certainty. Good guys don't always win, because the lines between good and bad are blurred. Not everyone is going to make it out of this alive. **** "Sterling? The South? They both have a common enemy now..." he whispered. "Us," I answer.

I am NOT falling for this guy! *** You've all met Amber Marigold. The golden girl that only wants to save the world. But what happens when gold falls? Amber has a dark side and it's time for one of these bad boys of Tygerwell to learn how to tame it. Or should I say men? This is the book where Amber finally puts an end to your question: 'Who does she pick?' But with Xavier's plan, it's going to be a little hard. "I didn't ask to be in the middle of your ego-battle," I grumble. Blake pins me to my locker, hands resting on either side of my head. "Well, you got it in anyway, Darling," he whispers. His face is inches away from mine and damn me for licking my lips. I am NOT falling for these guys. And then, at the corner of my eye I spot Owen and his gang approaching. Well, that's just great. *** The West and East gang of Tygerwell have been at each other's throats since the dawn of time. And the two leaders of these gangs want to end the fight, once and for all. But fighting with fists is easy. Fighting with wit and charm, is a whole other ball game. Blake. West-side gang leader. Leather jacket and killer glare. Don't talk back. Owen. East-side gang leader. Fancy coat and toxic stare. Don't resist. And in comes Amber. Hair of gold and oceans in her eyes. Has too much sass for her own good and always, ALWAYS, manages to get into the middle of trouble. But these boys have no idea who they're really dealing with. And when Amber descovers she knows a little too much when it comes to guns and fighting, she has to question everything she thought she knew about herself. Three can play this game. *** "Let's settle this. You got rejected, I got rejected. It's only fair that the fate of the gangs be on who gets the girl first." "That sounds rather good, Rhodes. I'll take that bet on the golden girl." *** COMPLETED FICTION AWARDS: Best new story and best new account Highest ranking in Teen Fiction: #1 on 25/06/2018
