Jughead was such a sweet boy, he was kind and he had a good family. But he changed the day his mom left with his sister, he was only six when it happened. Betty was one of his best friends, she was only trying to comfort him, but he pushed her, yelled at her, told her all these horrible things that weren't true. That's how it started, that's why they hate each other. But that will soon change when Jughead get in a terrible accident and loses his memory.

When Betty is kicked out of her own home, she has no where to go. Heartbroken, she realizes the only place she can go is the streets. One day, a boy named Jughead passes by and sees her alone and cold. Jughead decides to take her in, and have her live with the serpents. Jughead, being the serpent king, is allowed to bring whoever he wants into and out of the serpents. He typically doesn't date, because he believes it's a distraction from the serpents. But with Betty Cooper, it's a different story.
