Just a (not so) short Fred x Reader. Begins right before the Quidditch world cup. You're staying at the burrow with your best friends, Fred and George Weasley. (If anything is inaccurate, please message me and I will try to fix it, Thank you). I do not own you or any of the names mentioned in this story from the Harry Potter universe. You belong to you and Harry Potter and associates belong to JK Rowling.

*Edit* -Low key there are a few lines that are kinda cringe, also some spelling and grammar mistakes but I occasionally will go back through the story and try to fix it. Relationships from the past haunt you, while a new one gives you hope. PSA: this is very much a SLOWBURN. Another PSA: I'm making it so Fred is only one year above you and the golden trio instead of two, because i thought it would be weird if it was more than that if you were dating him, I also made the twins Prefects and the yule ball is every year and Lupin is there just cuz he's the best DADA teacher. Those are the only things that should be different, please correct me if I'm wrong. ALL ORIGINAL CHARACTERS AND MAIN IDEAS BELONG TO JK ROWLING AND THE HARRY POTTER FRANCHISE

Fred Weasley took quite a shine to (y/n) McGonagall, so did his twin brother but not exactly in the same way he did. But when her father escapes Azkaban will he stay as her loyal friend, leave her or become something more? - Set at the start of Prisoner of Azkaban and follows the films and book until the end. (This book will follow some scenes in the films and some in the books because some of the book scenes are too iconic to be left out.)
