This book is a spin-off of my first book, *Damsel in Distress*. If you are a DID reader, welcome back! If you are new here, check out my first book (you will love it) before reading this. Otherwise, it might be a bit confusing. However, if you are okay with missing pieces and are just here for a fun read, go on, be my guest. Zeeshan Obeid Othman is your typical workaholic businessman who doesn't have a life outside of work. Don't worry, he isn't grumpy and actually has a fun side that only comes out when he is with his cousins (he doesn't have many friends). Zeeshan is afraid of his father, who is all about parampara, pratishtha, and anushasan (tradition, prestige, and discipline). He is known for being his father's disciplined, well-mannered, and hardworking son. His only ambition in life is to be more successful than he was yesterday. Sarah Ahmed is the only daughter of her millionaire father, Haider Ahmed. She owns a boutique where she sells modest but fashionable clothes. She's everything Zeeshan is not: lively, bold, outspoken, and friendly. Her father wants her to get married, but she has been rejecting proposals left and right. Apparently, Sarah's standards are too high, or perhaps getting married is not her priority at all. The Ahmeds and the Othmans are good family friends and business partners. Now they want to take their friendship and partnership one step further by getting Zeeshan Obeid Othman married to Sarah Ahmed. On the surface, they seem like a perfect match, but Ms. Ribbons (Sarah Ahmed) has a grudge against Mr. Suit and tie(Zeeshan). She dislikes him and never misses a chance to criticize him, and Zeeshan is irked by her judgments and doesn't want anything to do with her. So, let's see how Ms. Ribbons versus Mr. Suit and tie turns into Ms. Ribbons weds Mr. Suit and tie. ______________ This is a rom-com. A simple light hearted read. I hope you enjoy it 😊

Torn between nostalgia for the familiar and the urge for foreign and strange. As often as not homesick most for the places they have never known. Mistaken they always have been. Lust from love. Wealth from heart. Dignity from pride. Patience from loss. How else standing in this huge world amidst the small shattered souls? They disguise. Just like preying. Red. Blood. Tears. Rage. Eyes filled with lust for revenge. Like dead carnations intoxicating the purple valley. A life revolving around scarlet ends. "Something of vengeance I had tasted for the first time; as aromatic wine it seemed, on swallowing, warm and racy: its after-flavour, metallic and corroding, gave me a sensation as if I had been poisoned." Charlotte Brontë, Jane Eyre

Izzah Masood, the rebellious daughter of powerful politician Kamran Masood, has only one goal in life: to become a successful heart surgeon. After her father refuses to send her abroad for her master's degree, Izzah devises a plan to escape Khiyamabad and pursue her dream in a different country. As part of her plan, she gets into a relationship with Hamzah Qazi, the son of her father's rival. Unexpectedly, Hamzah and Izzah turned out to have a lot more in common than expected. They also discovered that they both shared the same ambition in life, and that they both hated politics and wanted to escape their fathers' influence. Soon, Hamzah started meaning more to Izzah than just a plan. The more Izzah spends time with Hamzah getting to know him, the less she sees him as a pawn in her plan and more as a partner. Hamzah surprises her, changing his significance in her eyes. While her relationship with Hamzah continues to bloom under her father's nose, Aadi Masood-nephew of Kamran Masood and cousin of Izzah Masood-makes an appearance in her life, threatening to sabotage her plans. Moth To The Flame is a mystery/thriller with romance as subplot.
