They were rulers of Daston; a large piece of a congregation of kingdoms in the middle of a forested zone. Not much was known of the world outside of the trees, but no one cared to know. No one had a need to leave, as your village's royal family was very kind to their civilians. Crime was minimal, and savagery was dealt with extraordinary kindness. Nothing was going wrong in your seemingly small world, and helping your rulers was no burden to you. That is, until, the Queen of Daston is assassinated in front of you, and you are asked to help condemn the captured culprit to death, and assist the King in stepping down from his thrown- passing it onto his eldest of two sons, Prince Laelius. You get closer than you ever thought possible with him, happy to help him take the reigns of the kingdom. Event after event and tragedy after tragedy seem to be pushing you two towards each other, yet in the back of your mind, you can't help but question your own sanity. *images unowned by me*
