Luz Noceda and Amity Blight have been thrown around and pushed through so much. What they don't know is the big roller coaster they're about to go on. Violet is growing up faster than Luz and Amity can really understand, and with all of the weight on Violet's back having to live up to the expectations other people set on her because her Mother is the leader of The Emperor's Coven isn't helping her. Even with Eda and Lilith's help, Luz and Amity just weren't prepared for how Violet would change as she grew older. What will Violet do to calm the madness that's rushing through her head trying to determine whether she's wants to be a Human on Earth, or a citizen of the Boiling Isles? Life isn't easy for Luz or Amity. They've both been abused, been hurt, been traumatized. They've hurt each other multiple times and yet they love each other greatly, strongly.
