After escaping Inkwell Hell, she befriends two cup brothers, she is taken in by their caretaker Elder Kettle and the cups bring her on their adventures and making new friends and enemies along the way. Gwen and her friends learn more about the inkwell's powers and secrets and to keep the Devil from marrying her to obtain them for his evil purposes for the world.
