7 years after the war, Toph and Sokka finally reunite at Aang and Katara's wedding. They haven't seen each other in 2 years for reasons Toph put off to "being too busy with the metalbending academy." Sokka's engaged, Toph has a boyfriend, all of them are successful in their endeavors. But what's missing? This story is mostly told in Sokka's point of view, and goes through his time realizing he's not as satisfied with his life as he thought he was.

Sokka and Toph met when they were young and helping the Avatar save the world, but what happens after? What happens when you fall in love with your best friend? This is the story of what happened since the end of the war to Avatar Korra's time.

After he invites Toph to the North Pole, he starts to get butterflies in his stomach every time she's around. He wants to figure out what it means. Does Sokka love Toph?
