*SEQUEL TO PIGMENT* The world never stops turning. A story may end, but that doesn't mean the life of a character suddenly disappears. I'm still here in Devil's Acre of all places, and it appears that our internal clocks have been reset. Miss Peregrine did say we earned a vacation, and where else could we go, other than sunny Florida? Now we all must decide where our loyalties lie, and opinions among friends differ. Hopefully this won't cleave people apart, especially as we meet new and old friends along the way. This definitely isn't the twentieth century anymore! What did I think about my life? It's cool, it's great, and I loved living in a tiny house with no air conditioning in London with my very sweet, very sarcastic cousin. Why would you ask? I mean, sure everyone kept saying, "1972 is your year, (Y/N)!" But I didn't believe it until recently. I had began to get these strange powers. I was a magical Crayon with the weird ability to change the color of anything I chose. I needed to figure out how to control it, or find someone who could teach me. A strange feeling told me to go to Cairnholm, a tiny little area in Wales, and I had nothing better to do. So, now I was off to get weird diseases, find out more about this 'chromokinesis' stuff and maybe fall in love. Didn't matter what order, as long as I had fun on the way, right? Right?? 《[...]"What's wrong? Did you see something?", asked Enoch, concerned. I nodded energetically and pointed at the small spots of yellow on the ground. He raised an eyebrow questioningly and I responded, "Those are the same flowers from my vision, Enoch. I don't know how, but it's happening. It's happening now. We have to find Victor."》 (part i set pre-mphfpc / part ii set mid-mphfpc) previously titled 'soulmates';

Ren had always been strange. She didn't mind it. She had grown up, along with her cousin Jake, hearing tales of children who could do incredible things. Special children. She believed in their grandfather's stories with all her heart, for a long time at least. Then, like all children, Ren grew too old to believe in her grandfather Abe's stories. Or at least she had to pretend to. She pretended so well, she even forgot her own strangeness. When she travels to Wales with her cousin and uncle, Ren remembers just how strange she is. Just how peculiar. When she meets a certain dead riser, she's not sure exactly how to feel about him and Enoch certainly acts like he wants nothing to do with her. Still, the two must learn to work together in order to keep the little family together and save Miss Peregrine. Will a friendship form? Or maybe something more? Mostly based on the movie and not the book because it's been too long since I've read the book. The characters still belong to Ransom Riggs and not me. I do own Ren and my cover so please don't steal them. There will be some angst, fluff, romance, a few swears. But, as with all my fics, nothing to warrant a mature rating.

Having grown up with someone like Jake Portman, I've grown up preparing for anything. Well, almost. So how did I, an outcast from 2016, land up back in the year 1943? How did I, hotheaded and blunt, meet a boy from 1943, who was just as temperamental as I was, or even more so? How did I fall for him? Even that, was beyond me. We were as different as the sky and the earth. As far away, never meeting, never seeing on the same level. But even on days, the sky cries, and its tears reach the earth. Then, perhaps, the sky and the earth meet.

Victoria Burnett was never normal. Not in the way that she read strange books or styled her hair differently than what was declared the norm. No, she was different because she could see things that no one else could see. She could read Auras and this is her story in which her peculiarity whisks her off into a new world of wonderment, and mortal peril.

~BOOK 1 in MPHFPC SERIES~ It's the autumn of 1943, and Violet is living another average afternoon of an overly-sheltered life. Forbidden from venturing beyond her garden gate due to her abnormal abilities, she spends her days in the garden of her Oxfordshire home, using her healing hands for the greater good. What she doesn't yet know is that, soon, her beloved aunt will break some news which will change her view on the world she lives in. Violet is returned to where she truly belongs and, as they days progress, she flourishes in this new environment with the guidance of Alma Peregrine. But, when tragedy strikes, Violet begins to see the best in those around her, having seen the worst of humanity. She finds herself tumbling into something she can't, or won't, step away from. 💛I don't own any of the characters in this fan fiction, apart from Violet and her family💛 completed and edited 💓
