Adelaide feared she would get put into slytherin because she didn't want to end up like her mother, Bellatrix Lestrange. She struggled with coping by using drugs at first, but eventually got better and had her foster mother, Andromeda Tonks, obliviate the pain and guilt she felt about Cedric's death. She wanted nothing but to get back to her normal life she had lived before Cedric died, so her best friends, Fred Weasley, George Weasley, and Adrian Pucey, did everything they could to bring her back to her happy self.
