In 1943, 17-year-old Emma Perez loses a family member tragically. At this point, Emma realizes she's been missing out on life and takes a leap of faith - right onto the next boat to a forgotten desert island, filled with jungle and wildlife and a hidden secret that some will go to great lengths to keep. Note: These characters belong to me. These names are completely from my own brain, and coincidences are coincidences. 13+ (or something like that. honestly, if you are triggered by grief, trauma and death scenes then it may seem best to just skip this book) I hope y'all enjoy this :)

They were apart for four years, Jewel and Andrew. Both coping in different way, Andrew with his music, and Jewel with work. At least that's what she told him; he believed her until he found an old notebook tucked into the back of their closet. The pages frayed on the edges, and when opened faded a dull yellow colour. In the very top left corner, scribbled in her sloping cursive are the words, Dear Drew. Being who he is, Drew did the what he would do and closed the book. He closed the book, then demanded that his wife read it to him. ----------- cover credit: @andrvmcda

The Wonder Kids N.E.A.T. Labs, an advanced science lab in Nashua, New Hampshire, comes up with a "master idea." A proposition so monumental yet feasibly catastrophic that could change the course of history. Their idea. The goal was to show that it was possible to create an Aurora Borealis through science. "Bring the Northern Lights to New Hampshire!" A team of scientists worked diligently for years to get this particle accelerator to be a success. On the night of the government exclusive launch of the Particle Accelerator-Aurora Collider-a group of teenagers sneak their way from Amherst onto the lab's property to witness history. That night the sky exploded; however, unfortunately for everyone within a ten-mile radius, the hunk of metal exploded, killing them in the process. But then! One minute they are taking their last breaths before waking up with superpowers beyond their wildest dreams. The chemicals from the particle accelerator changed their DNA. The teens wake up confused and scared. They agreed that it is best if they go back to the lab to find out what happened to them....only to find out that they, along with the other affected people, are being hunted, taken, and tested on. It is up to the teens to answer the question: Are they the hunters or are they the prey? "Together, We Are A Wonder." Cover by: -wanderes *Season Two is available on my profile.*
