The woods of Hawkins to be exact. One night you hear people's voices, so, you walk to find who they belonged to. In the process tripping on a tree root and waking your head on a rock which knocked you out. Thankfully, Steve and the gang (minus Mike, Will and El) find you and took you back to the Byers house. You somehow end up in the middle of the forest with no memory of anything before you had gotten there. But in Hawkins, Indiana finding a girl with angel wings in the middle of the forest just makes things a tad bit stranger.
