No matter how many times he'd tell people he wasn't interested, they'd keep trying. One day, he was quite literally running from those exact people, when he stumbled into Denki Kaminari's dorm room. They end up talking about Izuku's current situation and Kaminari offers a solution. Fake dating. Izuku hesitantly agrees, just wanting to put a stop, or at least an obstacle, to all the relentless flirting and harassment. What happens when it stops feeling fake? Especially when Kaminari seems to be keeping more secrets than he can afford. Excerpt👇👇 "Honestly, with the detemination both of them seem to have, I don't think they'll give up until you finally start dating someone else or them." Kaminari joked. But he wasn't wrong. Izuku dragged his hands through his hair in exasperation. "I know that! But I don't want to date anyone right now, there's just to much going on to add dating on top of it." He whined. "Why don't you just fake-date someone?" Kaminari suggested. He was honestly just worried for the green haired boy's safety at this point. "But who would even agree to that?" He asked back. Kaminari thought for a moment. Then he shrugged and said, "I would."

Katsuki ends up in the hospital (again) which isn't too out of the ordinary in his line of work as pro hero Ground Zero. All would have been fine if he hadn't opened his eyes and met with forest green ones peering back. It had been 10 years since he'd seen those damn emerald whirlpools swimming with tears as he told the younger boy that he "didn't care about him, that a quirkless loser like him wouldn't amount to anything and he was gonna be too busy being the best hero to ever come back." 10 long years of regret, damaged pride and pining come rising the the surface. This is about a universe where Izuku never becomes a hero but saves lives as a Nurse instead, Katsuki is injured after a battle and ends up in the hospital Izuku works at. ~hi all this is my first ever "official" fic I've written so please be kind to me! Izuku Midoriya is completely fine. His friends have no reason to think otherwise, he just wears long clothing because he gets cold easily. He has absolutely nothing to hide ...........right? He needs help, but doesn't want to admit it and cause others to be disappointed in him. He is scared, lonely, and feels trapped inside his own head. But most of all, he feels selfish. He thinks he is selfish because he shouldn't and isn't "supposed" to have these thoughts.
