Mason Johnson's life can in no way be described as perfect. He lives with his sister and her on-again-off-again boyfriend, Caden. All his life he's grown up around drugs, yet some how Mason's stayed clean. It's junior year in high school for this 16 year old and he's just coasting through classes. But when his Drama teacher offers an extra credit opportunity that could help him pass, he finds himself with a role in The Phantom of the Opera opposite of the lovely and beautiful Rose Simpson, who has a clear dislike of Mason. Chemistry flares as the two opposites find themselves spending more time than either wanted to make the play a success.

There are two things Harper Lynch wasn't expecting when she made out with an attractive stranger at her aunt's wedding. One: He would show up on her doorstep two weeks later as the son of an old family friend. Two: That he would be staying in her house, right next door to her. Harper couldn't care less, and despite that fact that she has insisted that she has in no interest in Duke, she is still subject to the wrath of jealous, catty bitches and the admiration of wide-eyed freshmen. It really doesn't help that Duke is constantly flirting with her in his own irritating yet charming way. Harper refuses to be yet another conquest, but is that what Duke wants? Or does he want more?
