Bakugou treated Inko coldly at first and said mean things to her, but as the years went by they developed a close bond (whether Bakugou would admit to it or not). However, when the two UA-students are 15, Inko dies tragically in a car accident. Obviously Midoriya is shattered by the news of his biological mom's passing, however it is Bakugou who takes the hardest hit. Bakugou's only true friend had just been ripped away from him.
