"I thought I said not to cause any trouble, my dear." George chimes, playing with something in his vest pocket for a moment and I bite the inside of my cheek. "Your majesty, just because we made it to England doesn't mean I'm giving up." My gaze falls to the floor. "I'm still going to try everything in my power to get back home." I say, looking back up at George with a saddened expression. "I'll never give up, lose hope. Not until you forcibly place that crown upon my head come coronation day." George chuckles softly. "Oh really?" He says, walking in front of the desk. "We've been a little disobedient today, haven't we my dear." He chimes and I take a small breath as he slowly walks forward and I step back slightly. I swallow, "Disobedient?" I question softly as I lightly bump into the bookshelf behind me. "Your majesty I've told you, I don't belong to you..." My voice trails as he steps closer, closing the gap between us as he stares at me. I feel my back press up lightly against the bookshelf and hesitantly go to step to the side, jumping slightly as George quickly places his hands on the bookshelf either side of me, trapping me in place. I bring my hands up slightly, nervously playing with my fingers. "Your majesty..." "Do I intimidate you my love?" ~~~ Everyone was tense as the days ticked down to the day we would sign a peace treaty with England. The only thing (y/n); a 19 year old girl who had a fondness for baking and art, was worried about was making sure her bosses bakery was prepared for when the king arrived. Through her shy and introverted ramblings she tries her best to be nothing but kind to the king in hopes of making a good impression for her boss's sake, but what if she shows a little too much kindness in front of that certain king, unknowingly setting off a chain of events that would change her life forever. "Have you ever loved anyone?" his tone was serious. "Love has many forms. I loved my mother and father..." I trailed off, hoping he would not catch on to my lie. "A blatant lie. You had no parents... Did you?" "How did you kno-" he cut me off. "I didn't, but now I do." he smirked, "You must have an affinity for telling lies, Miss Rosalie. Leads me to wonder what else it is you lie about." "I'll return to my room now." I turned away. "Why so eager to leave my company?" he pouted. "I thought I'd made it clear that I am not fond of it." I gave the King an irritated glare. "My dear, the more you say it, the less genuine it sounds." he turned, making his way back to the palace. ~~~~~~~~~~ King George III x OC ~~~~~~~~~~ Serving in the French army as the only female soldier made Rosalie Alcott determined to prove herself. "Lieutenant, speak when spoken to-" He choked when he got a glimpse of my face. "Yes, George?" "W-What in all things holy are you in military attire for?" He struggled to gain graceful composure, slowly falling to his knees beside me. "I think I have already told you sir, I do not thrive in dresses." "So you stole that uniform." "Precisely, except 'stole' is a harsh word. I would prefer the word 'borrow'." I smiled at him. ~~~ Thank you for your interest in this book. Yes, it's another King George x Reader book. I hope that I don't bore you that bad with it. Disclaimer: I do not own Hamilton or any of its characters. I only came up with the plot. ***LMAO this is some shit I wrote as a junior in high school damn this is old.
