Elijah tried to hide how he felt. All the Mikealsons did. If any of their enemy's knew what happened they would use that against them. They would use Jennifer against them. Elijah sat down next to Jennifer not knowing what to say. Jennifer stayed quite. She had no clue how to react or say. "You know when I was little. Like five or six maybe younger. I was afraid of the dark. I thought there were monsters in the closet,under the bed, on the ceiling,in the corner of my room I even thought that monsters just stood next to my bed and started at me. I was so stupid" "Was?" A different voice said. Jennifer ignored it. Knowing Elijah couldn't hear it. Elijah gave a small laugh to her story. "Why are you telling me this?" "Because now I know that monsters don't have to have claws,sharp teeth,look hideous,red or black eyes, they can look like one if the most beautiful things in the world. They don't have to hide in the shadows in the dark. Because that's not where they hid the while life. They pretend to care about you,to love you and in a moment you will see them for their true self. A monster. You can know more about monsters by just knowing someone. But there are different types of monsters just like there are vampires." Jennifer looked over to the two blood covered Mikelason brothers. "And we are those monsters?" Klaus sounded hurt. Jennifer faced him. "No. Your not. Because Elena is. Because Bonnie is. Caroline. Damon. And even Stefan. Maybe a little Matt. But I doubt it.....and definitely me. They keeps Jeremy's death a secret. They didn't tell me. And I couldn't handle it." "You said you wouldn't leave me. You gave me your word. I guess that's what I get for believing you" "So we were friends?" "You kidnapped me. Twice. You where always trying to convince me that you are my mate.
