No childhood, no family, no friends. After a rather rough childhood of being a foster child and being moved around the whole country, Luz reaches a new family, a new city, everything looks like she can start fresh. But neither her new mom Eda, nor the little town in the midwest seems to be just ordinary and as her past mistakes slowly grasp at her, as the world around begins to let down its masquerade, she can't longer outrun her past.

I growl low and deep, raising my beastly fur to look more frightening. And then... silence. Not even the birds could bare the anticipation. "ROAR!!" I pounce a few feet away behind them, roaring ferociously. They scream, running for their lives as I let out a rumbling laugh, rolling in the leafy foliage as a beast. Amity laughs along, petting my soft white underfur before I shift back. Joyous tears in my eyes, I say "That was amazing, we should do that every day!" I giggle, falling back over. "I bet you'd love to, Foxy." Amity smiles, sitting down next to me on the forest floor. She gets lost in thought, not noticing as she strokes her hand through my hair absentmindedly. Light filters through the canopy, and I watch as the rays brighten onto her face after a cloud passes by. "Why do you have to be so beautiful." I say quietly, praying she didn't hear me as I realize it was said out loud. "What?" There are always 2 sides of any war, and Amity as far as she was concerned, was born into the lesser side that had started this mess. The Witches. Not only that but its common knowledge among both humans and witches that anyone who's even stepped foot into the Boiling Isles, has a powerful weapon known as magic. But whats magic against the power of guns and bullets? Note: the owl house and it's characters are not mine. They are created by Dana Terrance and Disney. 2 years into the future, an outbreak of zombies cause havoc in the Boiling Isles. Luz Noceda, Amity Blight and the gang must find a way to survive and work around the outbreak. Will they survive and avoid getting infected? ~ Cover/Artwork by me.

She wants nothing more than to join the Rebellion and become the hero she reads about in her favorite novels. Amity is a Necromancer in training in the Frightzone and supposed to become one of the most powerful additions to the Horde army. Will a Hero save her from this fate? Or will she become... Amity Blight is a lonesome water-witch-wannabe with parents that have no time for her. In the middle of summer, the Blight family moves into a part of an old house with a large garden and eccentric neighbors. Soon she meets Luz Noceda, a strange girl with an even stranger cat and a grandma that seems all but pleased to see Amity move into her new home... Luz had to go home at the end of summer, excited to come back to the Boiling Isles next summer...
