Throughout the course of war, the two deal with tragedy, loss, heartbreak, love, lust, and multiple obstacles that could tear them apart. NOTE: For those who do not know, "Katja" is based off of the character Wilhelm Winter from the German TV Mini-series, "Generation War." The book does not accurately portray him from the movie but it is the same person hence why his name is Wilhelm Winter and the gifs are of him.
