Keith can't seem to fill the leadership role Shiro had left for him, and the others once again despise him for something he can't control. In a last effort to save himself and Voltron, Keith goes on a search for his long lost friend, and is determined to find him at all costs. But how much will Keith really sacrifice? His last shreds of humanity? His little hope? His sanity? Have you ever wondered how Keith became close to the Black Paladin, Shiro? It wasn't some trick of fate, or destined encounter... It was an atv. This is the story of the Black and Red Paladins before they were defenders of the universe, before the Kerberos Mission, and before Voltron: Legendary Defender takes place. Keith finds himself struggling with things said in the past when Lance says something to trigger unfavorable memories. This creates tension between him and Shiro. Tensions increase even more among all of the paladins when Keith becomes ill unexpectedly, tying into a secret regarding Keith and Shiro. Disclaimer - I don't own Voltron: The Legendary Defender. This story ties into Aliens Among Us. The story works with the theories that Keith and Shiro are brothers, but also the Keith is an alien theory which is floating around, but with a few twists.

Keith is struggling with night terrors and flashbacks to when the Galra had tortured him while he was imprisoned. The only person who has been able to keep him sane while he was on the brink of insanity is Lance. However, Lance is a little confused how to deal with Keith's neediness. {I do not own any characters or Voltron, even though I wish I did} (the art is from Marvel Pumpkin, but I edited the color)

Keith has been acting quite strange for awhile and the paladins are worried, especially Lance. Even though Lance can't stand him, he does worry about him but Keith told him that he was fine. It was hard to argue with Keith so they dropped the conversation. Later on, when Lance tries to talk to him again, he realizes why Keith was like this. He now knew his secret but could he keep it or tell the others?

Keith begins experiencing changes after getting lost on Voltron's last mission. He has to deal with his new strength and the strange looks he gets from the team, especially Lance.

Keith has been thrown out of the red lion during a fight. Shiro takes the wounded lion back to the castle and team Voltron wormholes away, not knowing that they have left their fellow paladin on the planet. He is wounded, unconscious, and about to go through a drastic change. Prince Lotor finds the red paladin and takes him. What will Zargon do with the information he finds? How did Keith get to Earth? Why can't Keith remember anything? The answers will appear as the adventure continues
