BOOK #1 Serendipity (n) finding something good without looking for it - Marauders Era Fanfiction - Eva Taylor. Sixth year. First female keeper for the Gryffindor Quidditch team. Paints to escape. Number one Beatles fan in all of Hogwarts. Can't walk down the stairs without tripping. Proud beyond belief of her Muggle-Born status. Unknowingly the subject of Sirius Black's affections. - He leaned onto the counter and smirked, letting a bit of hair fall into his face and seductively watching her. "You think I have the charm to pull something like that off?" She blushed unintentionally. "I- I think you could charm the socks off of Voldemort himself if you tried." "Maybe that's how we win the war," he said jokingly. "We've been going about it all wrong. Dumbledore can just send me. I'll walk up to Voldemort's door, wink at him, and my smooth charisma and devastatingly good looks will have him dead on the ground by dawn." - 1st Place winner of the 1989 Harry Potter Awards for the Marauders Era! - Rankings: 12 in #maraudersfanfiction 2 in #siriusblack 4 in #themarauders 1 in #marauders 13 in #harrypotter 1 in #peterpettigrew 2 in #remus 1 in #padfoot 1 in #minervamcgonagall 1 in #jkrowling

When a boy, who's already lost everything, and a girl, who can't help but question what she has, meet, it's like destiny itself brought the two together. Artemis Lupin is a young witch with an air of charm and sarcasm. She has a way of getting on your nerves yet you can't help but like her. But underneath that seemingly 'open book' lies a girl who never belonged. Even though she's supposed to be a member of a high status pureblooded family, she's always had trouble adapting to their rules. Nobody knows exactly how much she's struggling with herself and the nightmare that never seems to go away. As she tries to prevent her friend from getting killed because of his dangerous curiousity and disability to think ahead, she gets sucked more and more into the mystery of the Philosopher's Stone. ~~~~ The girl with golden hair is the first book in the Artemis Lupin series. She was used to investigating mysteries on her own. People were untrustworthy. They lied. They tried to change the past. But the past couldn't be changed. Her own past was complicated. Especially because she wasn't the one hiding it, it was kept from her. For a good reason, they thought. The dream was her only lead. The only way to figure it all out. The dream was simply the end of a curse and the beginning of a nightmare. Because some secrets are better kept secret. The web of lies and deceit only got more complicated. Familymembers talked out of turn. The wise man was far too interested and the dark saw the truth in her eyes. Because her dream was simply the story. The story of betrayal, friendship but mostly death. But the thing that could ruin it all, was the very thing they couldn't change. It was the only truth in the past of lies. Her grey eyes and his black blood. ~Completed on June 20 2016~ (*Disclaimer* all rights go to J.K. Rowling. You can read this without having read the book.)

Fear strikes the hearts. Doubt enters the minds and trust is the one thing they need but can't find. Harry hears voices. A voice coming from the walls, whispering words that shouldn't be spoken. Artemis wants to help him clear his name, but she soon finds her mind preoccupied with her own problems. Old doubts have resurfaced after her family gets torn apart. Parts of her history are revealed. Everyone has been lying to her and Artemis starts doubting everything she knew until now. Because being yourself is hard when you don't know who you are.
