Yet, she was considered one of the most trusted member of the Demon Slayer Corps, allowed to attend the Pillar Meeting and understand the situation that was going on. Yet, the way her dark blue ocean eyes would widen in concern as she always runs to her older brother whenever he sustains injuries. And here Iguro Obanai had soon realized, who he truly loves. And he wants nothing more but bliss in this world filled with demons.

He was known to be reserved. And she was known to be the newest Upper Moon to ever exist in the era. Yet, she was so similar to him. He watched her often getting called upon by their Master. He watched her smile at something that he couldn't understand. That's when he realized, she had retained her human emotions. Unlike him, driven by a certain hatred within his demon soul. Yet, on the night he went out hunting together with her, watching the way she glowed beneath the moonlight. He felt a burning sensation within his cold heart, a feeling he found familiar but was long forgotten once. Was it love? He thought. Soon it turned into a competition, a constant need to see her every day. Getting irritated whenever the other Upper Moons were near her. He was known to be reserved, but oh well, he was known to be hot-headed when it comes to her.

Being a demon slayer, especially taking the position of a Wind Hashira. Shinazugawa Sanemi knew the dangers of him not being able to return home someday. Many wondered, how could someone who is gentle and kind like Akane [name], a helper in the Demon Slayer Corps, get together with someone as short-tempered and violent like Shinazugawa Sanemi? Many believed that she deserves way much better than the constant arguments she was having every day with the Wind Hashira. And one day, it ended. It ended with him comparing her to someone who she could never be. Kocho Kanae. But then, there was a hidden reason why he wanted to end things with her. For he was entirely devoted to protecting her at all costs, even if it means him losing his life as well.

Only to realize that the person had been with him the entire time. That's when he realized they knew each other from a long time ago. And she worked up an act of courage then to speak her mind.
