Alyssa Clearwater returns home to La Push after the death of her uncle Harry. Her friendships and relationships with the people who surround her are tenuous at best but everything changes again when they realize she knows all about them. Alyssa and her daughter have to adjust to life on the reservation. The people she knew have to accept that Alyssa isn't the same girl that she was when she left. They all have to accept the changes that are coming and accept that fate, doesn't make mistakes.
