[Book 1 A Flaw in the Blade]
Two girls. A sprawling metropolis. And a haunting sense of déjà vu shared by both.
Yukiko is a woman of precision: she keeps everything under control, from the exact measurements for her perfect mousses to the pristine order of her bakery and the composure of her own emotions. Shinobu has learned to hide her fragility behind a playful smile and the crisp white coat of a doctor. They are absolute opposites. One wraps herself in heavy coats, standing like an unassailable fortress; the other flits through hospital corridors in silk blouses, leaving behind a delicate trail of wisteria.
But their souls possess a long memory. The moment they meet, an invisible thread pulled taut between them vibrates to the limit. Why does the stoic Yukiko feel such desperate nerves before their first date? And why does Shinobu feel truly safe only when Yukiko stands at her back?
It is a slow, cautious drawing-together-where every accidental brush of their hands and every shared cup of tea heals, step by step, the wounds they don't even know they carry.
//I do not own the world of Kimetsu No Yaiba, the rightful owner is Koyoharu Gotouge. This is fanfic, and the only characters I made are the ones introduced in the "OC" chapter//.
