Mudblood. A foul name for a witch or wizard who has muggle parents. Otherwise known as muggleborns. Draco Malfoy hated that word and anyone who bears it. He bullied mudbloods and bloodtraitors alike as he put himself into a high pedestal-so high that no one can reach unto him- and climbed his way next to the Dark Lord himself. He, as the right hand of Lord Voldemort himself, became in charge of punishing those death eaters who ran away during the war. "I..." he hesitated. Gods, what could he even say? "I'm sorry that I didn't help you Hermione, I wish I did. I wish..." Draco trailed off and didn't finish his sentence. He wished he had stood with her. He wished he had made the right choice. He wished... well he had to many mixed feelings spinning around in his head like a goddamn bird to know what he wished. Hermione pulled her sleeve down, covering the ugly scar that wouldn't ever fade. "We all made choices we regretted. Some of us didn't have a choice either." She looked up at him, her golden brown eyes, seemed to stare right through him, down to his core. Draco looked down, suddenly unable to look her in the eyes. "I should've gotten sent to Azkaban with my father. I don't deserve a second chance like this." He meant it too. Hermione stood. The Wizarding World was saved. Voldemort was dead all thanks to the Golden Trio, Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger. The trio had basked in the glow of being heroes and saving their loved ones, however fate had terrible plans for them. Her days were numbered and she spent most of the time in isolation, having just witnessed the death of her two best friends, parents completely unaware of her existence, and in a complete stage of depression. The Wizarding War had been won and professor McGonagall had filled the position of Headmistress of Hogwarts. Draco's father, Lucius Malfoy, had been send to Azkaban for all the things he had done and both Narcissa and Draco were lucky enough not to go with him, they got a second chance, under strict rules, from the Ministry for Magic. Harry and Ginny were still together and their relationship was better than ever. Hermione and Ron were still together as well, but the war had started to make Hermione think. Workers of the Ministry for Magic had been send out to find Hermione's parents and when they had found them in Australia, they had brought them to the Ministry where they undid Hermione's memory-erase spell on them. Hermione had gone back home to be with her parents, Harry had gone with Ginny and Ron back to the Weasley's home and Draco Malfoy had returned to the cold and dark Malfoy Manor with his mother.
