Will you fight, or stand by as innocent people bleed for our country. People will die. But in the end? The one question we need to ask, will we be free? Will we finally break out of these chains we were forced into? Victoria's life seem to change in an instant, as did everyone else's. There's a set of rules that need to be followed. Step out of line and you're hauled off to who knows where, never to be seen again. Most people are scared, not bothered to see the real picture. They choose to believe the lies of the media. Of course they do. But when the time comes, what will you put on the line? What are you willing to lose? Will you fight, too?

*just a disclaimer, i am editing the book a little. So some things may change* "Why are you always alone?" A question I'm asked all the time. But this time, he asked me it. I stared at him before giving my answer, "Being alone insures I won't be hurt by anyone but myself." He shook his head. "Is that what you really want? To always be alone?" In all honesty I don't know what I want. I don't tell him this though. I settle with something more simple, "I'm not always alone. Take right now, I'm not alone am I?" That gets him to smile. And we spend the rest the time in a comfortable silence.
