The team is upset and disappointed in Bucks decision so they all decide to ignore him when he returns to work, especially Eddie who was hurt by the lawsuit. The team goes out to drink after their shift without Buck who also happened to go for a drink to drown his sorrows, when he sees his team celebrating a win without him, it crushes his soul so decides to leave the bar. Outside waiting for him, are two large men who had their eyes on buck for awhile. Will Buck be able to overcome his trauma? Will he open up to his team? What will Eddie do once he finds out the love of his life was hurt?

Buck has gotten a job in L.A as a firefighter at the 118, so him and Maddie move there. Maddie also has a job, she will be a 9-1-1 dispatcher. Everyone loves the Buckley siblings and wants to get to know them more. He's craving any type of attention from his parents even negative. Bobby Nash firefighter Captain of the 118 lost his family in a fire. His firehouse gets a call of a reported house fire and the only person saved is a small kid named Evan Buckley. Without any family willing to take him, and the police unable to locate his sister, Bobby gets clearance to give the child a roof over his head. He was drawn to the boy, and he knows he can take good care of him.

Eddie Diaz, a 21 yo military man who was reaching the end of his last tour with the US army, when his platoon reach Los Angles after being called in about a national security threat, Eddie cannot help but lust over one firefighter at the scene.
