When Dean and Cas investigate a case, things take a turn for the worse and their lives are hurled into a confusing crisis. Castiel is suddenly wearing layers of leather, feeling the urge to sleep, drink and eat greasy food every chance he gets; while Dean is wrapped up in a trench coat, with 10 ft long wings sprouting from his shoulder blades. With Sam's help, the hunter and the angel try everything they can to get their old lives back. But as Castiel and Dean get a chance to view one another from an untold perspective, repressed feelings slowly blossom through the layers of their friendship.
