However, unlike his heroes, he held no superpower to help him on his path, no super-strength or speed, hardened skin or flaming skull, setting the rookie vigilante up for a bitter struggle. And yet, on a day that would have appeared just like any other, upon the seemingly unimportant bite from a strange, discoloured spider. On a less-than-interesting field trip, he would be granted the powers needed to fight for his convictions. the ability to now truly make those who hurt others pay for their actions.
