After the war, Hermione Granger was excited to go back to Hogwarts for her final year. Voldemort was gone, Harry, Ron and her had somehow managed to survive, with a lot of help and even more luck. She was ready to put it all behind her and move forward, starting the rest of forever. But it seems that fate is not quite finished with her yet and what was meant to be her most normal, quiet and least dramatic year of her life, has somehow became something else entirely. ...Cue Draco Malfoy...

In which Draco has to kill Dumbledore because he wanted to protect his loved ones. Not only his parents, but also.. his girlfriend and unborn child. Follow the story of him and his lover during the war. Takes place during the end of the 6th book and the full 7th book. "Why did you have to pick me? Do you enjoy my misery or something?" Hermione yelled. "I picked you to protect you!" Draco screamed. "Why would you want to protect me?" She asked with tears threatening too fall. Draco became silent for a moment. All his rage left as he looked into Hermione's eyes. "Because I made a promise to Saint Potter. I would protect you if he wasn't here to protect you anymore." Draco said seriously. "Because he knew I loved you, and I wouldn't let anyone hurt you." "Y..you love me..." Hermione mumbled in awe. The Wizarding War had been won and professor McGonagall had filled the position of Headmistress of Hogwarts. Draco's father, Lucius Malfoy, had been send to Azkaban for all the things he had done and both Narcissa and Draco were lucky enough not to go with him, they got a second chance, under strict rules, from the Ministry for Magic. Harry and Ginny were still together and their relationship was better than ever. Hermione and Ron were still together as well, but the war had started to make Hermione think. Workers of the Ministry for Magic had been send out to find Hermione's parents and when they had found them in Australia, they had brought them to the Ministry where they undid Hermione's memory-erase spell on them. Hermione had gone back home to be with her parents, Harry had gone with Ginny and Ron back to the Weasley's home and Draco Malfoy had returned to the cold and dark Malfoy Manor with his mother.
