This fanfic is cross-posted on AO3 ♚♚♚ The Seiryu Empire had an unspoken rule; all Emperors should be male alphas and all Empresses should be female omegas. The Emperor would rule over the whole empire with as many concubines and riches he wanted to have, and the Empress should quietly watch and follow. Because of that, most of the Empresses who reigned in the Seiryu Empire had gone through violent abuse. The reigning Empress, not able to take the abuse anymore, rebels against the Seiryu empire and takes all the female omegas, conspiring with Toryu Empire to immigrate the the females out of the country and into the Empress newly built empire, the Hakuryu Empire. Because of the declining birth rate in Seiryu, they reformed the unspoken rule, and declared that omega males be allowed in the palace.
