Este One-shot está inspirado en el concepto de la guerra fría del denominado «teléfono rojo», el cual se refería a la línea directa de comunicación entre la Unión Soviética y Estados Unidos en ese entonces, y el cual no era literalmente un teléfono (y mucho menos rojo), sino más bien una línea de teletipo. Aún así, el concepto como tal me llamó la atención y quería explorarlo de una forma más o menos literal o representativa. Como nota adicional, este One-shot no pretende normalizar o romantizar la dependencia en una relación romántica bajo ninguna circunstancia, sino todo lo contrario.

I've grown attached to the characters and have come to see them as more than just Countryhumans. I feel that even after I finish writing this I will keep these characters as ocs. This long message is to say thank you for everyone who's still patiently waiting for the next chapter and I won't be abandoning this book, I am just busy and that's why there are large gaps in updates.
