This was originally a book for one shots based on my series but has turned into the fourth book of my series The Last Sphinx. Takes place in the sixth season of ninjago, skybound. Not everything is accurate to the season, but this is done on purpose since it is based off of my fanfic idea.

Zane's sacrifice was to always be remembered, and had brought the Ninja and their sisters closer as a family. Wu and Garmadon have been making progress with their alliance with the Serpentine. Most Serpentine children attended Wu's Academy and Ninjago High. For Angel and Dawn, this was amazing since now they weren't the only animals species attending school on the surface. The Ninja taught some Serpentine Spinjitzu while Angel became a part time tutor. Even most citizens hired a few snakes to work for their companies or gave them decent jobs. All was going well but a certain noodle shop owner was not what he seemed. Yet again, a new threat approached Ninjago that could ruin the peaceful alliance that was already forming between the Serpentine and the humans. Not only that, but there were bonds to be mended. Angel knew that not everyone had received their "happy ending" ever since the battle against the Overlord. But, where could she even start?

Technology has advanced since the Overlord was defeated. In the new Ninjago city, Angel and the Ninja have continued to protect the city from any criminal activity that came around. Some of Angel's brothers had become teachers for youngsters to learn Spinjitzu. Angel decided to continue her education at a nearby High school, and applied for classes at the local hospital. She wanted to learn more about the medical industry, and to help others with her power. With the ability to heal, she could become a phenomenal M.D. with her own clinic possibly. However, there was much to learn first before going into that profession. She still trained with her brothers, and persisted on learning more about how her powers worked. Much like how Lloyd was with his new power as the Golden Ninja, and took training sessions with his father Garmadon. However, while she and the rest of her family grew stronger, there was always a balance between both sides. A new threat was approaching, and they weren't the only one's evolving in power.

In the land of Ninjago, creatures of all variety of species thrived. Animals and monsters of all different shapes and sizes. Not only was there the Serpentine, but for instance, an ancient race called Felonians, or otherwise known as Zinxes. These creatures were peaceful and welcomed strangers warmly into their homeland with celebrations and warm gifts. Though long forgotten without any records left behind of their civilization, their legends still remained. Some of their kind was thought to be descended from the ancient Sphinxes. Half cat half Phoenix, possessed the purest of fire and had wings that could light up even the darkest of nights. Both the humans and Serpentine thought theses beings of light were extinct, along with the Zinxes. Or were they...? Note: Angel, Dawn, Angel and Dawn's parents, Sean Ling, Clarice, Alice or Allie, general Markus, and Pythors parents are my fanfiction made characters. The rest belongs to the show Ninjago.

Lloyd was a pretty bratty kid. Demanding candy, trying to take over the world, ya know. But despite that, he was a good big brother. Except that he set a pretty bad example. Though he was there for his baby sister. Lucinda was an energetic little girl. Two years younger than Lloyd. Despite being very energetic, Lucinda was shy when near people she didn't know. She didn't want to take over the world like her brother, she never had the need to impress their father. She didn't remember him nor her mother. However, she always wanted to make her brother proud. What happens when they accidentally release the Serpentine?

Lila Black, is what she calls herself. The girl with no expressions, the one who stays in the shadows. The villagers of Jamanakia village mostly stay away from her. She is quiet, creepy, weird, and anti-social. But when she meets Lloyd Garmadon..... That all changes. Join Lila as she's sucked into a battle that she was hoping to ignore for the rest of her immortal life, but hey, fate is fate and destiny is destiny. I don't own anything in ninjago,the characters, places, weapons etc. except my OC, her origins,weapons and powers. Slight Language, no promises of keeping some profanity out of there.

They didn't think there existed a power that could eradicate the love they had for each other. But tragedy can target any home and so it hit theirs. A deceptive nightmare warns Garmadon of a spreading evil but the young boy is too happy to care. Consequently, a serpent's fangs are enough to unravel the perfect pattern of the brothers' relationship.
