Hazel is not what you'd expect from the Tanner family she is different more like her uncle in her passion for music but shows that she is her fathers daughter. Hazel and Steve the unlikely couple but so in love that the whole family notice how Hazel is changing for the better. Since her mother Pam tragically died due to a drunk driver she has never been the same. She drifted from DJ and Kimmy and became a loner that loves to be around her Uncle Jesse and play her pain through her music.
