Even though his heart is in full function from her stitches, the way that they talk to each other rips out the previous mends they once sewn in each other. Cristina Yang returns from Zurich after almost 6 years, bringing with her tons of stories, new tension in the hospital and most importantly, an out-of-control pancreatic tumor. She enlists Meredith's help in saving her life but quickly realises that she'll need help from a few more of her friends, if she's going to make it out alive. She revisits her past and catches up with the new faces at the hospital, but while she rejoins the chaos that is Grey Sloan, the secrets of her time away start to rise to the surface.
