No one even had to tell me. As soon as my heart started fluttering I knew. 'Awe s**t here we go again.' I thought to myself. Why do I put myself through such agony when it comes to these high school boys? "Give it up Clario he's just like the rest of them." Adin said as she gently rested her hand on my shoulder. I hadn't even noticed that I was basically drooling while watching Ash walk by. I've secretly had a crush on him for the past 3 years we've been in high school together. Well maybe not so secret since Adin could tell. I thought I got over it last summer but obviously not and it was starting to get kinda pathetic, but we have been best friends since kindergarten so hopefully she was the only one who noticed. I snapped out of my daze and quickly darted my eyes down to my dirty white vans. "let's just go to class." I told Adin as I tugged her arm urging her to start walking. "You need to either tell him how you feel or let it go. It's been THREE YEARS!" She said as we started heading down the crowded halls. I didn't reply. The words ' he's just like the rest of them.' kept replaying in my head. Was he... just like the rest of them?
