New house, new life, new start. Lucinda Cartwright's life was thrown into chaos after her father and step mother died. She became the sole provider for her younger sister, Mary-Beth in a single moment. Uncertainty cloaked her and she decided that moving across country would help them have a fresh start. Twin Peaks was a quaint and friendly town that seemed very welcoming and accepting of Lucinda and her sister but there are dark secrets in these parts. She will discover that beasts walk with the mortals and when the bodies start to pile up, the fingers start to point towards Callum Wolfe. The man who Lucinda finds herself inexplicably drawn to. Attempting to figure out who is behind the brutal murders, Lucinda and Callum struggle to clear his name and keep the people they care about alive. Lines will be drawn, stones will be thrown, and Lucinda will discover quickly that evil is sometimes lurking right beneath the skin. Cover by @Pananabels

•BOOK TWO of the Faerie Tale Series• "Wait, you want to go out?" Aure called after Meiri, stopping her as she went to skip to her room. "Well...yeah?" Meiri nodded, blank eyes wide. Clearly she would have to spell it out for her friend, "You set me up with some insane sidhe claiming to be fae royalty, what's more, but of some made up court, and you want to go to IHOP?" Aure pressed. "I mean, when you put it like that, it sounds terrible, but have you seen the guy all morning?" Meiri arched an eyebrow. "The garden isn't so big that it would be that hard to find a giant purple dude with horns camping out in the rosebushes." "Well, no, but if he is who he says he is then he could have powers we can't even fathom, like he could be in this very room with us right now, and how would we know? I can't even cast, Ree!" Out of the pair of them, Meiri had the natural talent, however her spells had a tendency to go haywire when she was under stress. Yet, performance anxiety seemed like such a minor conundrum in comparison to Aure, who couldn't be relied upon to even empower the simplest of protection incantations. The irony; two witches, one the granddaughter of the Green Crone and the other the coven's favorite prodigy, completely at the mercy of an errant sidhe. Aure knew online dating wasn't for her. Truly, what girl, what witch (even a washed up one like Aure), could have expected their first ever date, let alone their first ever Tinder date, to propose within minutes of meeting? Truly, what girl would even reply "yes" to such a question? Not even Disney would write that faerie tale.
